紫微君如是說:
用已知的現在，推論不知的過去，是正確可以理解。
用不知的過去，推翻已知的現在，是錯誤無法接受。
用已知的現在，演譯未知的將來，事屬合理。
用不知的過去，演譯未知的將來，純實臆測。
Ziwei Jun said:
It’s valid to deduce the unknown past based on the known present.
However, it’s incorrect and unacceptable to challenge the known present by relying on the unknown past.
It’s reasonable to interpret the unknown future from the known present.
But interpreting the unknown future based on the unknown past is purely speculative.
